PROVIDING A World of opportunities

Highlander Fund

Highlander Fund

The Highlander Fund, our annual giving campaign, ensures students receive unparalleled experiences in academics, athletics, arts, and all areas of pursuit on campus. Our community’s collective generosity sends a strong signal of support for Lake Highland’s mission.

The first and most important gift you can make to the Elevate Highlanders Campaign is your annual gift to the Highlander Fund.

The Highlander fund

Your gifts make our great school even stronger
Like fellow independent schools across the country, we ask our families, alumni, and friends to make voluntary annual donations to benefit our students, teachers, and programs. Gifts to the Highlander Fund are investments in our outstanding academics, arts, athletics, safety, and technology!

Your support helps ensure Lake Highland remains a national leader in education.

Gifts to the Highlander Fund create unparalleled opportunities for our 2,077 students.

From supporting innovative and inspirational learning to providing funds for our nationally recognized arts and athletic programs, the Highlander Fund’s impact is powerful and far-reaching.

Make an unrestricted gift, or designate your support for a program that is important to your family.

Unrestricted Giving
Support LHP’s highest priorities and give school leadership maximum flexibility to pursue important initiatives and direct resources where they are needed most.

Designated Giving
Provide resources for the components of the Highlander experience that are important to your family, like Athletics, Arts, Speech & Debate, STEM, or other programs.

We ask all of our families to support the Highlander Fund each year.
No matter how big or small, your gift makes a difference. Together, we can provide a world of opportunities for every Highlander.

What does a gift to the Highlander Fund Support?

Ways to support the highlander fund

We give because our family loves and feels privileged to be a part of LHP. Giving to the Highlander Fund is one way we can give back and show our gratitude for the community that is helping us educate and shape the lives of our children.

Chances to significantly impact the future are few and fleeting! Our Elevate Highlanders' dreams, like newly planted trees under whose shade we may never sit, will long be beloved and cherished not only for themselves, but also for the sake of our children and our children’s children. The time is now to move beyond the good and go for the great!

Vice Admiral, U.S. Navy (Ret.) Al Harms

A Highlander has a mind for achievement, a body for competition, and a spirit for service. Our families, faculty, administrators, and coaches are all working together to create a better world, one student at a time. Be a part of our story!

Jeff Deery '82, Chairman of the Board of Trustees

We hope our gift to the Elevate Highlanders Campaign will inspire others who believe that an investment in Lake Highland’s future benefits us all. It is a gift that will last well beyond our own Highlanders’ years at LHP. Ultimately, we believe in the power of education to transform communities and lives, and we know the school will steward our gift with responsibility, care, and commitment to mission.
